I’m a filmmaker and photographer working with artists, community groups and brands, with a particular interest in community-centred storytelling and the things that shape us as humans.

My practice began as a runner on film sets while completing a degree in Psychology and Life Education in Wellington, New Zealand. I went on to develop my interest in cameras and image-making while living in Iraq and spending time travelling through India, Nepal, Iran and Turkey.

Back in New Zealand, I was awarded an arts residency with Zappekin in 2023, where I learned about video and developed a video project. Then I took on work that would put cameras, drones and editing software in my hands every day, giving me the opportunity to develop my technical skills through constant practice. With these skills, I’ve made music videos and short documentaries, and have worked on commercial projects and in community arts across Aotearoa.

These experiences continue to shape how I approach people, storytelling and image-making, informing my work as a director and camera operator.

As a core member of London-based music distribution label goodtwin, I work with artists on visual development and creative direction, creating work that feels considered and connected to their identity and intentions.
